Longmont route runs every weekend
Sit back and let the Brewhop Trolley drop you off and pick you up while you partake of frothy beverages and fine spirits along its Longmont route.
David and Radha Lewis’s refurbished green trolley runs every weekend to various watering holes from noon-9 p.m. Just hop on and off all day long as it makes its rounds, stopping about once per hour at each establishment. Choose a one-day ($15) or two-day ($25) pass, or host a private party onboard. Riders can’t drink on the trolley, but there’s a cold-storage area for those who want to stock up on growlers.
“Brewhop benefits other businesses, and riders get to see just how vibrant the brewery scene is here,” says Jean Ditslear, co-owner of 300 Suns, one of the stops. Indeed, the trolley stops at nine craft breweries, one distillery and one cidery on its route.
Longmont resident Renee Staiano loves riding the trolley for lazy afternoon brewery hopping with friends. “We usually do the entire route,” she says. “It’s super fun, especially if you have a designated driver to pick you up at the end.” No need to leave your furry friend at home, either. The trolley allows well-behaved dog passengers, and most of the breweries allow them on outside patios. Visit www.brewhoptrolley.com for a route schedule.
