Dogs and cats are tops in many people’s hearts and homes, but what about pets that still need a home? The Homeward Bound gala aims to send shelter pets to new homes. Sponsored by the Longmont Humane Society, Homeward Bound is a fun-filled evening with food and beverage tastings. Live and silent auctions and live music round out the 6-9 p.m. event, which raises money for animals in need. So have a heart for homeless pets and pencil it in your calendar.
