Join the city of Boulder for Dog Dayz 2017, when Scott Carpenter Pool closes to humans but opens up for water-loving dogs. The Dog Dayz event has been running strong for nearly a decade, saw close to 2,000 dogs come through the gate in past years, and is a great way to spend a warm afternoon with your best friend. Your dog (or dogs) will be grateful for the chance to cool off and play with others.

The schedule for dogs of any size is Mondays-Fridays Sept. 11-22 from noon-2 p.m. and 5-7 p.m., plus Saturday-Sunday Sept. 16-17 11 a.m.-2 p.m. The pool is open exclusively for smaller dogs (under 50 pounds) Mondays-Fridays Sept. 11-22 11 a.m.-noon and 4-5 p.m., and Saturday-Sunday Sept. 16-17 10-11 a.m. The event culminates with the Dog EXPO + Flying High Dog Competition, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 17.
